Economic evaluation is now a core requirement for most grant-funded research projects. This augments the clinical studies and evaluates the cost, benefits and cost-effectiveness of the intervention being tested. At Aquarius, we are ready to support your team as you prepare your application for submission. We can talk through the different options depending on the size of the project and advise on the best approach for your application.
We have helped collaborators at all stages of the grant application process – from an initial expression of interest, through to second round detailed applications and preparing for interviews. Depending on your requirements, we can advise about what health economics should be included, and also other aspects of the analysis such as sample size and analysis plan.
Over the past two years, we have also worked with ten organisations to support them on the health economic and data analysis portion of grant applications. Of these, we have been awarded 40% of the grants, including two large NIHR grants. Other applications included NIHR commissioned and researcher-led calls, Wellcome Trust, Medical Research Council, Gilead Fellowship, and SBRI projects.
We will tailor our involvement to your unique needs to maximise your chances of success.
